About

Juno Jacobs is a costume designer and artisan from New Hampshire. In 2023, she graduated from the Carnegie Mellon School of Drama with a BFA in Design & Production, with a costume design concentration. In her time at CMU Drama, she participated in productions as both a costume designer and costume craftsperson, as well as designing for the student theater organization Scotch’n’Soda. Outside of Carnegie Mellon, she has also had the opportunity to design shows at the Pittsburgh CLO and Bristol Valley Theater.

As an artist, Juno emphasizes dramaturgical work and an intersectional approach to design. She has found a fondness for designing shows that break traditions of gender in both casting and clothing, and enjoys the opportunity to engage in these conversations of identity with directors, other designers, and actors. They are also passionate about anti-racist theater practices and arts education.

Juno finds joy and artistic inspiration in queer media, video games, and “just browsing” at vintage stores.
